He treats the full range of acute and chronic pain conditions, including back and neck pain, sciatica, herniated and degenerative discs, spinal stenosis, failed back surgery syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS), peripheral neuropathy, and cancer-related pain. His practice specializes in advanced, minimally invasive treatments such as spinal cord stimulation, dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulation, intrathecal drug delivery (pain pumps), radiofrequency ablation, epidural steroid injections, kyphoplasty, and regenerative therapies.

Beyond clinical care, Dr. Kalia is a recognized national leader in pain medicine and neuromodulation. He serves as Co-Chair of the Education Committee for the North American Neuromodulation Society (NANS), Vice President of Reimbursement & Regulatory Affairs for the American Society of Pain & Neuroscience (ASPN), and President-Elect of the New York Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (NYSIPP). He is a published researcher and frequent faculty member at national conferences, committed to advancing the science and access of spine and pain care. He did the first dorsal root ganglion (DRG) stimulator and Peripheral Nerve Stimulator implant in upstate New York.

Guided by a philosophy of Educate. Innovate. Advocate., Dr. Kalia partners with each patient to treat the source of pain — not just the symptoms.
